A Course Correction Conversation is a moderated “civil discourse” that provides a safe place and unique opportunity for influencers, leaders, institutions, and citizens to hear different perspectives, experiences, and solutions to unify our country in the midst of persistent turmoil and strife.

Urban Specialists™, in partnership with Stand Together, provides a safe environment for healing dialogue in hopes of ending senseless violence and revitalizing citizenship.

Unusual Alliances

Commemorating the 50th year of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s death, Urban Specialists invited everyone to be a part of the solution.  On January 15, 2018, Urban Specialists™ hosted the first-ever Course Correction Conversation™: A Civil Discourse.

Course Correction Conversation™ is an opportunity for people from different backgrounds to have a healthy conversation and personally experience the reality of the other side. Then, together, we can end senseless violence and achieve peace.

We bring together violence victims, public figures, lawmakers and the community for an open discussion about widening divides in America and how we can reunify our country.

Dialogue creates shared values.  Together we can make meaningful change.
